Tóm tắt: In order to investigate the implication of TBLT in high school classrooms in the Vietnamese context, the research was conducted to explore high school students' motivation through TBLT and their writing performance through TBLT at a high school in Kien Giang. This research may provide the teachers an awareness of implementing TBLT in teaching writing in the present context.
